Job Summary
- You will be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of exams for departments within Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital and Avera Medical Group and used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Process studies electronically to assure an accurate and timely report turnaround.
- You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of radiology equipment, general equipment cleaning, supply inventory and quality control.
- You will also uphold patient safety and exam quality utilizing ALARA standards and follow guidelines set forth by the State of Nebraska Health Department (NDHHS) and in accordance with 180 NAC 10-002 and departmental policies.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree or a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology is required.
- Ultrasound ARDMS or ARRT Sonography is preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Licensure in the state of Nebraska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ultrasound experience preferred.
Work Schedule
- Varied Day shifts as needed; Department hours are 7am - 5pm.
- Occasional nights and weekends as needed.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
